Clam and Mussel Pizza



Ingredients

  1. Soak clams and mussels, separately, in enough cold water to cover for 3-4 hours to spit the sand.
  2. Prepare dough and sauce following recipe directions
  3. Drain clams and place with wine in a large saucepan over moderate heat, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Discard any unopened. Remove fish from shells and set aside. Add mussels to liquid in pan and cook the same way. Remove fish from shells.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F. Spread sauce over dough leaving a ¾" border. Top with seafood, sprinkle with garlic and parsley and drizzle with oil. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until base is crisp and golden.
