Ingredients

• 1½ lb ground beef
• ½ lb ground pork
• ½ cup finely diced onion
• 1 cup applesauce
• 1 cup bread crumbs
• 3 tbsp ketchup
• 2 tspn salt
• ¼ tspn black pepper
  

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Lightly oil a 9x5x3" loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix well.
3. Place the meatloaf mixture in the prepared pan.
4. Bake for 1½ to 2 hours.
5. Let cool 10 -15 minutes. Turn the loaf out of the pan. Slice and serve.
