Sausage and Chicken Paella
Ingredients
1 chicken, cut into ½" pieces
½ plain sausage
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 small can chilis
1 C. tomato juice
1 small can minced clams in juice
½ cup brown rice
1 tbsp chili powder
1 can whole tomatoes
salt, pepper
1. Crumble sausage in skillet and brown. Set aside. Brown chicken in skillet and set aside. Sauté onion and garlic until limp. Add remaining ingredients and thoroughly mix. Add sausage and chicken, simmer to bring to heat. Bake at 325º for 30 to 45 minutes. Serve with garlic bread.
